WIPO and ATTP Sign MoU to Strengthen Global Standards in Technology Transfer

Bangkok — The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) have formally sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on the sidelines of the WIPO-AUTM Technology Transfer Leadership Summit and the WIPO-Thailand Innovation Policy Forum. The agreement was signed in Bangkok and is being described as an important milestone in strengthening global alignment on professional standards in technology transfer, IP management, and innovation capacity-building.

About ATTP

ATTP is an international professional body focused on raising standards, competencies and ethical practice across knowledge and technology transfer (K/TT). The organization is best known for its accreditation frameworks, particularly the Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) credential, which has become a widely used benchmark for professionalizing technology transfer practitioners across different innovation ecosystems.
